This was a very exciting model for me. It represents my 'big break' in the miniature painting scene. To my knowledge it is one of the first fantasy models to use painted in lighting effects. This technique is now commonly known as object source lighting (OSL). It was also, as far as I know the first time a female had ever won a Slayer Sword.
